Deep Technology or more commonly used term “Deep-Tech” refers to the technology that is based on tangible engineering innovation or scientific advances and discoveries. Its main focus is to lead new solutions that solve society’s most important problems; including chronic disease, climate change, clean energy and food production. The difference of deep tech firms derives from its difference from traditional tech companies since technologiests and scientists typically collaborate toward a common goal. Topics of deep-tech vary from artificial intelligence and machine learning, big data, robotics, blockchain, advanced material science, photonics and electronics to biotech.
