SPAC (Special Purpose Acquitision Company)

SPACs are listed companies whose sole purpose is to raise capital for the purpose of merging with other companies. SPACs that do not produce or sell any products allow other companies to go public easily by avoiding the classical and lengthy public offering process. Companies that have agreed to go public by merging with SPAC companies that have previously been offered to the public and traded on the stock exchange avoid most of the financial costs and legal processes in classical processes.
