It also seeks to give structure and credibility to fledgling business ventures by maintaining controlled conditions for their cultivation. These conditions include secretarial support, administrative assistance, business expertise (e.g. management, marketing, accounting, and finance), and facilities (like shared officespace) support. In addition, the incubator attempts to extend the networking capabilities of the entrepreneur through affiliations within the university and with the private and public sectors and non-profit institutions.
