As part of the Ege D-Tech Commercialization Program, two deep-tech startups — Anadolive and Rebioca — carried out a five-day discovery and collaboration visit to Denmark from March 3 to 7, 2025. This international mission focused on understanding market entry pathways, identifying collaboration opportunities, and engaging with Denmark’s dynamic food, agri-tech, and innovation ecosystems.
From Aarhus to Copenhagen, the journey included a carefully curated program of site visits, expert meetings, startup exchanges, and networking sessions with Denmark’s top research institutions, industry clusters, and investors.
🌿 A Strategic Start in Aarhus: Food Systems, Innovation, and Collaboration
On March 4, the delegation traveled to Aarhus, where both startups visited:

Better Insect Solutions – Learning commercialization strategies and scaling insights from a local agri-tech startup.

Food & Bio Cluster Denmark – Understanding Denmark’s food innovation ecosystem, with additional contacts provided for extended collaboration.

Danish Technological Institute (DTI) – Exploring quality assurance and R&D services essential for product validation and compliance in Denmark.
These meetings laid the foundation for future partnerships and allowed both startups to gain valuable market intelligence.
🏙️ Business Meetings & Investment Insight in Copenhagen
On March 5, the delegation resumed its program in Copenhagen, featuring tailored meetings for each startup:

Anadolive met with BUKA, a local pastry chain, to test its product, receive feedback from culinary professionals, and explore market adaptation strategies.

Rebioca joined an online session with Decameal, gaining valuable insight into investment readiness and fundraising from a fellow startup.

DanBAN (Danish Business Angels Network) – Rebioca also had the opportunity to pitch to Danish angel investors and learn about the local due diligence and investment climate.

Orkla Food Solutions – Both startups attended to understand customer expectations, product-market fit, and distribution strategies in Denmark.

Alfa Laval Innovation House – A joint visit to explore how startups can set up operations in Denmark, supported by innovation infrastructure and corporate partnerships.

On March 6, the teams visited DTU Skylab, the innovation hub of the Technical University of Denmark. Through a guided tour and coaching session, both startups explored opportunities to:
